1. What was the first R-rated movie you ever saw? Did it live up to it's awesome potential? Would it be nearly as good if you saw it again today?

Aliens, yes, and yes.
I was scarred shitless for quite a while after that one, thinking that the alien queen was going to land in my back yard and punch my brains out with her mouth-tounge. Because, you know, we only see her get sucked out of the cargo bay at the end, so who knows how long she could survive in space...
Honorable mention goes to Terminator 2, which I saw maybe a year or so later but which had me terrified of getting nuked in my sleep for months.
T2 also gets my honorable mention, but the first for me was the Breakfast Club. Both have stood the test of time.
